On Saturday 12 April, the Women’s Museum will be reopening our doors with a new artistic and community programme, Desire Lines. https://www.newtownculture.org/womens-museum/exhibitions/desire-lines-tender-women/ This programme takes inspiration from the desire lines that appear in public landscapes, when people take an unplanned route rather than the designated alternative.
Join us and be the first to see a newly commissioned artwork for Spring by Sahra Hersi, made in collaboration with a group of women from Adanna Women’s Support Group.
There will be free refreshments and creative activities, with special moments planned throughout the afternoon:
