We have been listening to the local community and understand how the current financial crisis is affecting people.
With this taken into consideration we are now accepting self referrals.
This means, if you have children aged 0-11 years and live within Havering, Barking and Dagenham and are in need of essential children’s items then you can come to us directly. No need to be referred by a front line professional.
In order to receive our support, we ask that you provide proof of income. This can be bank statement, benefit entitlement letter, wage slips, universal credit summary etc. All must be dated within the past 3 months. Please upload this documentation at the end of the form. We will not be able to provide support without this information.
If you are a front line professional and wish to make a referral on behalf of a family, please so do below.
A front line professional may be one of the following agencies:
The Food Bank Local Authority Children Services or Safeguarding Team Early years provider or school Local Authority Hospital or Carer (Midwife or Perinatal Team) Children’s charities
We do not accept referrals over the phone. If you have issues with the internet platform, please email us.
Before making a referral please check you meet the following criteria:
* Named person must be a parent, carer or guardian with a child/children under 12 years of age.
* They must live with Havering, Barking and Dagenham area and be able to collect from any of our hubs.
* Must be able to demonstrate need and financial struggle if requested.

Collecting Donations:
Donations can be taken to the following hubs. Marks Gate Community and Family Hub, Rose Lane, Marks Gate RM6 5NJ on Thursdays and Fridays 10:30am-2pm
Bretons Manor, Rainham road s, Rainham RM13 7LP Thursdays 11am-1pm (Please call to advance to ensure this hub is open 07512038713)
We are currently accepting donations of clothing aged 0-15 years, shoes, nappies, formula, toys, books, cots, buggies, bedding, bottles, hygiene items etc (We do NOT accept car seats, mattresses and electrical items) All items are provided for FREE to struggling local families.
