April 8 @ 18:00 - 20:00

The Stay Well Stay Safe: Healthy Futures Project is a health and wellbeing project for disabled people living in Barking and Dagenham. Our project has three objectives: increase physical activity, empower participants with knowledge about healthy lifestyles, and teach participants to cook healthy meals.
* Evening Activity Group
* 6pm – 8pm
* Every Tuesday
* Memory Lane Resource Centre
All activities are free and must be booked in advance. To register on the project, book a session, or for more information, please call 020 8593 6677 to speak to our Healthy Futures team.
Our project is for disabled people borough-wide of all ages. Non-disabled people can volunteer to become Fitness Buddies, Health and Sports mentors or Digital Buddies supporting disabled project beneficiaries, while disabled beneficiaries who complete training can become peer support group leaders or mentors to continue to arrange group sports and fitness activities. The Project continues to grow and therefore more activities will be available – – just contact the office and we will advise you.
